I think i read somewhere on a forum that the wheels are in motion to save Batemans Bay....would this be you??

Used as a M/B track at the moment

Sad it is. The now pics of Cardiff & Newcastle were only taken yesterday. Its the first time Iv'e been back to the Cardiff track site in over 20years. Back yard fences now line most of it.

The good ol days alright.
One of those monoshocks sold on ebay 2 days ago in Melb. I think $145.00
If was more local it would be in my garage now.

Hey Burgo, always ask if you want to bid on something in another state.  Phil was willing to pick up and post a bike for me from Sydney, My sister collected a Hotfoot and then I got it when I visited and posted to a member in NSW, I had a bike dropped off by Ads in Melb so I could collect it later and amd going to be dropping some wheels at someones brother's so he can collect etc and so on.  We may not be able to always help out but it is worth asking.  I am in Ballarat, but have an awesome brother in law who isn't into bikes at all but picks up stuff for me in western suburbs of Melbourne.

i was never lucky enough to have riden on or even seen these tracks fellas but it breaks my heart to see history such as this just pushed to the wayside and sold for the value of a dollar to line  one's pocket Cry .

this is why i am going to try my arse out to get hickeys lane going again Shocked  and i hope i could possibly get the support of you guys Smiley
