This is the frame i am after. Any help would be appreciated.

What you have there is a 1978 single head gusset MXR 20

I know someone who has a frame...sent him a message to see if he wants to sell it Smiley

Do you have a better picture of the forks?  I have a pair that look a lot like them but i cant see the bottom, they were in an old bike shop guys stuff, they might be copies though.
They are holding the front of the fatrax up until i get time to put the other forks back on.
Cheers Tim

Hi there,

I'm also looking for a MX20 (twin "Mongoose like" gusset), not the MXR20 (with the single gusset).

(I have 2 Madison frames, neither is the model I am looking for. I have the MXDR (model after the MX20), and also an even later fame (model name unknown).

Happy to trade/buy if someone has one.

Love to see a pic of the unknown Mado....may be able to help out with model number.

Some model mado's like the MXDR have 3 different versions....slightly different head gussets, dropouts and geometry

These would have been upgrades from 79 to 82.

All Ok here. Thanks for pointing this one out to me, I did see this one, but I already have a frame of this type.

It's close to what I am after, but the one I'm after is I'd say one "upgrade" earlier. The front gusset on this model is lightly different, and mine had a 'matchbox' (but the one without the 'hole'), . I may as well get it right from the start, otherwise I will be annoyed with myself later.

This model, though is very simmilar to what I am after.

I have seen a couple on e-bay. but no luck.

Thanks
