Many of you have heard this story but since this section has been created I thought I might as well share it with the new guys too.
Back in 04' I get an email from my brother in Canada directing me to a site called vintagebmx.com and says "you should do up your old Quicksilver" which I still owned. After pulling it out of the shed for the first time in 16 odd years it didnt look pretty but I was keen so I took the task on.


After sourcing the stickers and chrome work thanks to Pete Porker I was on my way.



I wanted to build it similar how it was back in the day but add those parts that I could afford



So 18 months later I had collected all the parts i needed either from Ebay or trades through good friends I had met in this hobby along the way. and this is the finished product:

that is an excellent build. i love how you've managed to select parts that have a very similar shade of gold.
