I've been doing a bit of work on a frame for one of the guys here.  Diamond medium pro came to me with holes blown in the matchbox by a sand-blaster and some quite rough tubing.  It looked like it had been put in a vice several times and had a lot of dents.
The paper thin part of the matchbox was removed and a piece donated from a cromo mongoose silver brazed in.  The worst dents in the tubes were drilled through and filled with silver braze.  These were then filed and sanded. then it was off to a painter who coated the frame in epoxy and filled the remaining minor dents.
Still to go is some cleaning up of the hole in the matchbox with the dremel and some sanding before a coat in 2 pack (possibly if owner wants).  Hopefully it will go from a rooted frame too thin in places to ride to a nice looking rider that reflects its ancestry.
I've put a lot of hours into it and hope it turns out looking good, not perfect or like new but pretty good.
I don't have any pics of before maybe someone here has Smiley

Cheers Tim

I prefer 2 pack as there are a greater range of colours and effects available.  I find it has a better shine too.  Powder looks good when Roberto does it.
For me its just a preference as I like metalics and pearls and don't neccessarily have to get every frame done in original colour.
I painted my bike BITD with a spray can and not having the og colour appeals to me a bit sometimes.
2 pack is pretty tough too which shouldn't be a factor because we ALL wear kit leather gloves and a full foam body suit when we touch our bikes right?  right?  right?
I won't say it is better GTHODAD, I will say it has endless colour combinations, shines beautifully and is much easier to  touch up if you just have a plain colour.  It is my preference anyways.
