I have a Diamondback Harry Leary frame. Ihave had it since new and have decided to restore it. I am looking for any info on the original smoke finish that came on it. I removed it about 20 years ago and have only got photos to look at . Any info would be great

Have a look at the services index, http://www.vintageoldschoolbmx.com/smf/index.php/topic,479.0.html and get in contact with Lewis and Sons Powdercoating. Roberto has almost got an exact match. It's so close it's very hard to tell the difference. Other than that theres not many people in the world that have it down. Theres one in the UK and a few in the US. Also have a look at the Diamond Back site,  http://www.os-db.net/ for more info on all old school Diamond Backs.
