hey guys. my names andres, newbie to the bike resto old school deal. saw some haro freestylers and loved em. just a quick question on skyway tuffs, can they be painted? may be a stupid question. but yea. hahaha

howdy lopsyd, dont bother with trying to paint tuffs. Dyeing them does work apparently, I havent tried it myself but others have with success. You just gotta remember you cant dye a blue set yellow. yellow to black will work but its like dyeing clothes...gotta go darker.
NOS is a sellers way of justifying hideously high and unrealistic pricing... Wink Wink Grin

cheers man. appreciate it. haha i got a set of tuff 2s for free off my mate. but theyre black, and i wanted white. hahaha. oh wells. different paint scheme it is. Smiley

Welcome to the site bud, I have 3 sets here some fool years ago did, the reason I say fool is that they are crap to clean off.
Its your call though if thats your gig, do it. What colour do u want, cause there are a few colours at coloured tuffs.com & the aussie $$ is just right to buy a set (or 2) outright.

i wanted white ones. but i got a set of black ones for free. that sites pretty sweet. and i might buy a set off there. but cashflow is tight. im a uni student with no job. hahaha. Tongue

o clean the paint of in a caustic soda bath (then high pressure hose) or by bead blasting them both have good results
