Drove past Minto in 1993 and this is what i found, must have been just before they turned it into a new street

Minto Today from Google earth. as you can see the public school is still opposite the site and the old housing houses are still there surounding the block. I reckon the new road cuts into the block at about the same spot as the old gravel driveway. Darren Hawkins and myself use to hit this track every weekend and occasionaly got let in during the week i bet we all raced or at least were there at the same meet on many occasions. If you ever remember a kid on a blue raleigh with red tuffs and a full face road motorcycle helmet that was me. Later i blended in and actuall got a DB Team pro and had a bell helmet and go the rat pants but that was when i raced at a few places not just minto. I proberly could have done a lot better if i had my parants support and it didnt clash with my footy. Oh well hindsight is a wonderfull thing isnt it.
