Hi, I used to race the Nowra track back in the early 80s, I raced the indy apple 500 and won the (I think it was the 8 or 9 yrs. still got the trophy somewhere. we used to race the friday nights and remember when we used to get vouchers for the bike shop for winning in place of trophys. The track used to be just south of the last roudabout heading out of nowra. The land is still vacant but fenced off.Notrack there anymore. I have some photos somewhere, will post them when I dig them out

yeah we raced at nowra ( about 2ks south of maccas on the left, was a hire place for a while with a yellow wire fence?).
remember racing at night , it was a fairly tight track. would get really cold by the time the final motos rolled around.
most vivid memory is the ant music song by adam ant getting played endlessly on radio !! and my dad absolutely flogging the guts out of our mazda 808 station wagon..........should have got the rotary option dad!! will have to search the photo albums next time i am at the oldies place...

Yes the old Nowra days I raced there 4 times and won $100 each time its nice to remember the old days
