Have finally found time to myself and pulled this out of the shed to build into a rider. No NOS on this build.

Maxi and Silverton Aero. Ads has seen the Silverton at Knox 2010. Heard him say it needed Tuffs.

Possibly.  It got so hot that day that I heard 2 bikes pop their tubes.

Decided these will suit the Redline. If you look closely youll see they have rebuilt hubs with the bolts instead of rivets. Bought the back hub from PRM many years ago. Miss PRM :'(

Now to dig up some brakes out of that shed. MX1000s and a Tech77 will go on it.  Something I learnt today is the top and bottom headset bearings arent intechangeable.

Here is the latest on the build. Im not quite happy with it though, Ill change out the tyres and pedals as I dont like the colours. Funny how I hated coloured tyres and loved to strip the anno off parts in 1984 but now I love a bit of colour! Back o black tyres next week.
