Hi guys , thanks for all this help it is unbeleivable . There's not much more info I can give as I think threw out the years parts where upgraded , as for the forks they are Tange trx forks maked 1E but I may have added them my self as did I on the seat post . The stickers on the frame is a Quicksilver BMX racing frame sticker and then there are a couple of shimano MX equiped stickers and thats it . Other than that no numbers at all . All we can do now is get the frame re powder coated and hopefully in the near future you guys can get a look at this bike . I live in Jervis Bay NSW so again when it is finished I would love to take it to a show and get a better opinion . Pics will be up soon of all stages of the resto .

Is there a shop sticker on it? Just all goes towards identifying the frame properly. Shops stocked certain gear etc

Ahhh...... It's a Westie at heart. Great little shop tucked in the back of Livo. Killer Williams used to ride for them if memory serves me.

Yes Simon a true westie as the bike has lived 95% of its life in Penrith and played at Hickeys lane every now and then .

Thats a cool frame, and the yellow is extremely rare. I wouldn't re powder it myself. The yellow is so rare nobody remembers seeing them back then.
But it's your bike. Do whatever you like.
I raced at Hickeys lane a few times too.

If it's the OG paint then I'd leave it. It's never been seen before!

i'm with you fellas. i'd leave it original yellow as it's probably the rarest quicky colour.
if you need to build it, just buy used old gear (cheaper too) and it will be the perfect survivor build.
