I'm after an as new, mint, cheery condition early 80's Supergoose.
Preferably a 1981 model.

My story starts in Glenroy, Vic. 30 years ago in 1981 when I'm in grade 5, it's report card day before school & i say to mum " if i get all A's will you buy me any bike I like", "sure, no worries" she says. Approx. 2:50pm that day we are handed our report cards in class. Back then I was a very quiet & reserved child. When i open my report card & see all A's I jump out of my chair screaming & cheering (totally out of character back then). Mr. Boyd, my teacher asks me to sit down & be quiet. "You don't understand, I'm getting a Supergoose" I say. 3:06pm I'm barrelling down the hill towards home & from about 120 metres away i see dad watering the front lawn, I'm screaming hysterically, He has no idea what is going on, "mum said this morning" I told him. We go inside & I show my school report card. That afternoon we go to the BMX shop & i'm pointing "thats the one I want". I remember thinking how expensive the price tag was. Mum says "If we get this new bike for you we wont have enough money to get a bike for younger brother". I was already feeling guilty about how expensive it was so I say "ok". We the go to Kmart & I get a "blue stingray" for myself then on to Westfield Doncaster where my brother chooses a "Cyclopse". We now have to wait until Christmas morning to get them.
The Stingray was a great a great bike & i loved it because it was new.

Cheers Phil thanks for the links. I'm really after a complete bike though.
Any idea on what the price would be for a 81 supergoose in top condition?
