Hey guys, new to the forum and a newby to everything to do with old bmxs. I picked up this Cycle Pro today with plans to fix it up. It runs pretty well, just needs a good clean up. Anyways, the guy i bought it off said it was an 80s model but can anyone here tell exactly what model it is? Or is it impossible to tell from just a picture. Cheers guys

Not sure if it would help but if it has a serial number usually located either on the bottom bracket shell or on one of the rear dropouts someone maybe able to help with a year.

Kinda looks mid 70s. The fat spokes, rims, stem-Americans call them goosenecks Cheesy and the funky bars.
Cycle Pro? Id guess very low end b ut worth restoring if you re into that era.

The forks look like early tange 500's
If they are there will be a date on them which could help you on the approx build
Example 8b is 78 Feb.
Hope that helps

Going by all the bolt on parts i would say late 70's and as Troy said check the forks......should be 77/78 if they are genuine Tange and not copies

I just swaped a 76 set of tx 500s like them for a set of 78 tx 500's the 78's have less of a bow in them.
