Yes it has valves (at last).
I got it from a member on OZ, many thanks to Sam & Darrell.
In the pics is Darrell & myself, I'm the fat boy lol.
For those who don't know Darrell was on of the 3 Quicksilver welders & welded all of my bikes pictured here.

Not made of money like u mate lol.
I still have to work for a living.
Had a fire sale of bikes Peregrine, mini ripper (with FMF dropouts), GT expert  plus a lot of parts, all good though.

Hard decision to move the PK mini i'd say mate but well worth it considering you now have a piece of Aussie BMX history in your hot hands Smiley

I have a 78 quicky as well, that will be the next project.
From the stamping looks like it is Feb 78, that will make it possibly the oldest recorded survivor.

From what I was lead to believe, the Quickies went into production in Jan 78 with 2 welders, Darrell started in 79.
If there was 77 models I would just be guessing on what or when. Professor rode a non brake bridge model & he was there from the start to the finish, rather then I speculate, maybe you can ask him Dean.
