on the 8th of this month SUNDAY i came back from wyong about 5pm and found that no emails were working and none of the forums of many web sites that CBDomain.com hosts were working.

Found that the server that controls the emails and the SQL DB its hard drive had died, ended up with bad sectors on it, and i could not recover the data lost.

So for now i doing the best i can, the easy part will be setting up peoples emails, the hard part will be getting SQL DB backups to work, i have a backup as close as 2009-01-11 but cant seem to load it, the only DB i can get to load is one from 2008-05-14.

I would like to apologise for this and i will do every thing i can do to sort this problem out.

it basically means that evrything as of the 14 of may 08 has been lost ie all posts, members, boards and calander dates that have been added since that date 
We are doing our very best to restore to a later date.

Hi richie , It seems you have coped a hard time of late ! This has happened before and your site has recovered and done well . IT will happen again . I will work on some of my usual dumb questions to ask as I have always recieved great replies & help here from the members . I've taken this golden opportunity to go from blwbcm to laingy. I was no longer a member so I thought if I've got to re-register .... why not? it's easier to type and explain, so if you get a later backed up DB loaded can I stay as laingy?

I am truly sorry about this misshap i could not for see the hardware failure, many pages i host have lost there forums as well as my own site even tho i did monthly backups of my own sql db, problem is for the rest of the sites i host they didn't back up there own sql db of there forums and lost them, i remind them to do it but they don't seem to remember.

also Richie i need you to email me all the emails accounts that are being used for your site and its moderators and admins so i can have them up as fast as i can to minimise down time for your users.

again I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has made for you Richie and to all your admin/mods and users.

sadly it means they will have to re register, its not that hard but i know its a pain to have to re register.

to the people that were mods and admins Richie will re add you as soon as he can, and i hope all will be ok from here on.

Also i have just noticed i can login wile the forum is still embeded in the site thats one thing i had trouble with before hmmmmmmmmmmm. i am also trying to fix a glich i have installing a later SQL DB of this site.
