Here's my first project for this year. Scored this one off a good friend who new I had one BITD.

Here's how it was when I got it. The chrome was pretty bad and flaking big time around the head tube and top tube.

NICE PIC'S, NICE BIKE
Roberto does nice work. I'll have to get my finger out & get him my quicky.

GENERAL QUESTION : Do I have to get it sandblasted or does he have that covered too?

I strip them first as it allows me to see any problems that the previous paint/powder is hiding. I'm guessing Robert prefers them already stripped but use a chemical stripper and don't get it sandblasted. Probably best to speak to him directly though.

Roberto will strip the f/f for you if need be. But as Jarvi said it's always good to see what's underneath and do any serious repairs first. The Robinson was originally chrome with some pretty bad flakey bits. The chrome was polished and the edges of the bad sections feathered into the steel underneath. It was then powder coated over the top.

Jarvi, the seat post clamp is a first gen Powerlite PL1.
