'80 Mongoose

This landed in my lap last week. Thanks to Chris.A

This was the second bike I owned after the Super MX. I'm going to start this one after the Robinson is finished.

Nice. I have a frame (courtesy of Waza) and about 75% of the parts to rebuild my first BMX. If Mattblack would stop bidding on the forks I might have a set of them by now as well.

Any photos of your original one or are you building from memory?

I'm trying to find the original pics. This was the first bike I raced, at The Gap Club here in Brisbane. Cardboard number plate and all ..... Cheesy

The original had Red Tuff 2's steel flange freewheel version, gold stem, mongoose SS Bars, mongoose OPC, mongoose snow flake chain wheel, I'm pretty sure I had a suntour seat clamp although could of been a goose one, goose grips, and a black Kashimax with SS seat post, brakes were Tourney's from memory.
