My little baby girl needed a larger bike as her 16" was getting a little small. Plus it wasn't a bmx.  Cheesy
So I pulled Tobys race bike (he's too big for it now) and rebuilt it. The wheels were 1 3/8's and that wasn't going to be right for the street and these were free. They have steel hubs but it rolls fine. The rims are alloys.
The original cranks were stripped by the previous owner and when I pulled the pedals out the cranks were cactus. Timmo said he was looking for some cranks for me as I could find any and the ebay ones were too much. Tim remade this with a bit of his handywork and they are perfect. Big thanks to Timmeh!
The pink parts came from various shops and the brake caliper is from Tim also. More thanks.
My daughter loves the bike and thats all that matters.
Thanks to Waza for supplying the original Vortex stickers about 2 years ago! I knew I'd use them oneday! I have another Vortex frame but its an older model so I might paint that up too oneday.
For now, she rides..

The bike looks awesome Glenn, Ardyn looks like a champion too, but where's the saftey gear?
She looks uber cool in the top photo mate.
Does me 'ole heart good seeing a young 'un with a big smile on her first BMX.
I'm really happy with how the frankencranks look on the bike glad the young lady is rolling in style, you did a great job on it. I wouldn't change a thing.
If I can find some pink valve caps they will be heading your way though.
Let us all know when she's mastered the bunny hop too.
Fantastic job Glenn, I am going to have to RAD you!

PS now that you are my agent and promoter what is your cut on Frankencranks and who do they send the orders too ?

Cheers Tim
