Project JMC Black Shadow

Hi There all,
I have just pulled my 1981 JMC black shadow out of retirement for the first time in over 20 years. After reading this site I thought I would restore it to when I last raced it in 84. Finding the old parts should be fun. I'll try and put photos up as I go. New to this resto stuff i'm sure i'll need advice.

WoW! Thats pretty sweet! Should be a fun rebuild.
You know Jim Melton (the Jm in JMC) is a member on a US site and he will tell you all the info on your frame. When, where and what color. He still sells pads and stickers too.
Have a look on Vintagebmx.com and post up.
One of our members here is Damon Bevan. Factory JMC back in the 80's. I'm sure Damon would help you finding parts and put you in touch with Jim.
Damon, where are you..?
