I allways knew it as Budgewoi track. Its still there just very over grown and the concrete for the gate is still there, I should pop over there and get some pics of it now.

Great technique on the gate Veva. Welcome to the site and more pics if you have them and any stories to go with them.

Hey Guys,

I used to race there also, I have been trying to find people who had raced there!!! Whilst I raced there in '81,'82. It was known as Budgewoi. I revisited it in '99, and yes the conrete pad is still there and the track is sort of there also, but very over grown, with some grafitti written on the pad!!!
Shame to see a track go like that, I helped build it as a youngster with all my mates, we used to ride in the old quarry before it was put there as one of my mates used to live on the last street next to the quarry. Alot of cars where dumped there, so we used to get in those and if people who have been there would know that the sides of the quarry where quite high, we used to get in and go down the sides of the quarry. I look back and think F*$K how the hell am I still here, with some of that SH*$T!!!

Good times !!! and then down to the shop for a game of Spacies!!! or home to a game of pong on the old Atari!!! Wink

Talk soon and hope to see you guys at Robertos'!!!

Guys the pic i attached was 100% doyalson Track they held the Central coast titles there at least 2 times. Budgewoi track was about 10 kms south east of here as Mostley said in the old Quarry! 1 pic shows veiw from Doyalson Gate looking down the track you can even see the diff in the dirt colour apposed to the Budgewoi dirt. 2nd pick shows the gate ar budgewoi clearly diff gate and start. 3rd pic shows the site where the doyalson track used to be.

I send  pic 2 an 3 sep!
