Rodger Decoster Forks ?
«

My 79-80 Quicksilver is getting closer to a birthday, here's my problem.
It has so i thought Rodger Decoster forks on it but on checking on the www I see there is a a difference or is there another style that these may be. I have read (please correct me) that mongoose made the Rodger Decoster bike & my bike has a mongoose headstock, it also has Redline, torker & other parts.
I'M CONFUSED
If someone can even identify the forks.
This bike is original except tyres, brakes & h/grips.
I'll also put a pic on from an American Set of forks
Thanks (any input is apprieciated)

Troy, need pics mate. Have a look on wazas site here nd see how you go. Decoster forks have very small differences to normal Goose forks. Most Quickies had Tange forks. Most had either TX1200's or 500's. later they used TRX forks.

i think they will be tange tx-1200 fork as they have the round holes in the dropout. the tange tx-500 had square holes in the dropout. the 500 were the choice as they were cro-mo and weighed a bit less than the 1200.
