My 1981 Supergoose!
«

Here she is, my holy grail
Only took me 28 years to get one after first laying eyes on one.
Plus, a 5 minute video of the actual build with a BMX Bandits tribute at the end.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93IIQmpGJkQ
Had a lot of comments about it while out riding, one kid who was only about 10 said "That's a freaken nice bike, it's just like the one from BMX Bandits!" That was very cool.

Thanks Adrian! I would have posted it sooner but I've been having lots of issues with my connectivity since switching providers and I've not been able to get to about 90% of the internet
Seems to be ok now (touch wood). I think they had some weird settings going on in the supplied modem so I'll use mine thanks very much!
I'm still deciding whether to put the straight bar on in place of the V bars, of course I could always have both and just switch. The Vs do keep it true to the Bandits version and they are surprisingly comfy, they're just not mint which is a bit of a bummer.
Next Monday I plan to take it down to the track for a run - waiting until all the kids are back at school before I go there as I haven't been on a track in I don't know how long. Would like to get the feel going again before I do it in front of anyone
Of course, it'll get a polish when I get home! This one is most definitely a keeper.

Looks fantastic mate well done. Just one suggestion, it would look even better with a set of Araya's on it !!!!

Some anno blue Arayas? I reckon it would look sweet - but I'm a sucker for Tuffs
If I ever happen to own some they might well get a run!

Cheers Tim! I've since given it a polish up as it still had fingerprints on it from the building and it now looks even better.
I'm extremely happy with it although I did notice one thing... the front brake needs to go on to stay true to the BMX Bandits bike! Better get on that on Friday I think - better buy some good cable cutters first though!
You know the first thing I'll be doing when it's on don't you? Endos!!!! I used to love doing endos!!

BGH I might have to build a BMX Bandits Supermax, although I don't know if I could get the original seat cover.....I hear she married some country singer!

I bet HE doesn't ride a BMX!
It'd be a hoot to have all 3 bikes from the movie and go cruising with them!
We could make BMX Bandits 2 - Old School Strikes Back
