Most guys in Sydney send their frames interstate (Vic mostly) as they can't find a decent one in Sydney. Pete Porker (Quickie Mon) here on the forums gets some done in Newcastle I think.

Been there for a thousand years, very well known to the locals & Pete uses them. Check with him first though.

Hi all I spoke to the guys from Electro Plating Technology (02 6297 0535) in Queanbeyan the other day and the dude told me $380 for a frame and forks, also said a set of bars would be around $80 extra. Lead time was 6 weeks + at the time I called (early December).
Not sure what sort of job they do but he said the main cost was in the prep work so sounded like they do a good job!
If I need to get a bike done I'll post some pics.

I was just wondering what your thoughts are on chrome paint ?
Could be a good alternative for real chrome.
I'm not talking of stuff that comes out of a can, but something like this :

I LOVE the idea!
http://www.alsacorp.com/products/mirrachrome/mirra_video.htm
They quote approx $2 per square foot cover.
