I remember racing there in the early '80's quite a few times, but don't have any photos sadly..

Does anyone remember racing in the Indy Apple 500 at this track in the early/mid '80's? Race was sponsored by Apple Computers & the track was extended to 500m long!! Long way in those days.

I remember riding from our motel in Nowra to the track in Summer & getting swooped by maggies on the highway!!! Ah the good old days....

yes i remember that race meet.they combined the race track and the practice track together.Nowra had a cool set up.

Now I remember the Nowra track, it was the maggies that did it......lol

I wanted to race the Apple 500 but could not get down to do it. The track was about where Macca's is now sort of was it not?

From what I remember heading north you take the next right after Macca's then a left up the hill somewhere. So no, not far from Macca's.

Great pics I'm (Mal Mclelland) in the 2nd pic 185 and my brother Matt is 184 in the 4th pic. Still got those bikes too.
