Ok im new here
iv been into oldschool bmx bikes since i was about 9
 and i had lot of parts and a few bikes but whan i was 15 or so my old man chucked em all out  whan i was down at the track! Shocked Angry Cry
anyway iv got a 24 inch hutch frame  i think its mid 80s or so and i wanna know if its rare or not
ill post some photos whan i get the time and of my other parts .

Jake,

It all comes done to serial number, I've got a 1988 model which is one of the less desired bikes because it was made in Taiwan. 1983 or younger will have no serial number, 84 on will have a number, which is slightly different depending if it was made in US, Japan or Taiwan. Check your serial number! There is a site from a dude in Holland who is mad on HUTCH. www.jjrbmx.com or something which has a speil about serial numbers.

It won't be older thats for sure. Looks like an 83 or there abouts. looks nice too. Not really rare but certainly desirable. It would get some good dollars if you sold it.
