Been trying to find a decent 22.2 mm seatpost in good condition for my Malvern Star building, (I got 3 of them) and got sick of it so made one myself from 6120 Aluminium.



That is for the Maxi, am probabably going to do fluted ones for the Supermax and Supermax CroMo!

Will see how they turn out with the flutes, I can make em in 26mm too, the one for the maxi was 26mm rod turned down with the ends drilled 100 mm in.  I could drill right through but they are light and stronger if solid in middle for us bigger guys i figure.
Got some more rod to make some 330 mm long posts with flutes pictured.
If they turn out ok I'll take orders Smiley


I'll polish one up and put a pic up if I can get a decent shot.
