Personally I like white as a frame colour. I think changing to a yellow seat will bring in some much needed contrast. I'd suggest gold anno'd gear and yellow grips, seat etc.

Nice, I especially like the gusset frame Supermax. Where'd you get some yellow comp III's I've been pulling my hair out trying to find some decent quality ones.

Got some chromies on it for now, I am going to leave the oversized stickers on because I decided i like them that bit bigger and im not pretending it is all original.
Black seat seems to suit it, i don't have the original stem or grips either, the chainring is still at the platers so I can't put cranks on, but it looks a  lot what I aspired to BITD, well
I aspired to lots of bikes but the Maxi was the most affordable

Nice score there Tim, she looks fantastic after the respray. Good to see Malvern star getting some respect. I too am currently working on my own Maxi build in black. Any new work done on the build?

Where did you score the stickers? I've been after a high quality reproduction for a while now and would love a set. If you could point me in the right direction it'd be greatly appreciated.

She's all done, has original look but rims and stem and seat post aren't genuine.
I gave it to a quite tall 7 year old who had outgrown his 16 inch bike.
Looks  pretty OG from 20 feet away if he keeps it one day he might want to get OG stem and rims, but for now he's enjoying riding it, he is only 7!
His mum was going to stick the black star on the steerer tube and it will look the part.
Here's the last pic I took just before putting the grips and chain on after I got the spider back.
