"I Like Gold!!"

This is the only picture I have of my first 20" bike I got when I was 7, My Dad brought it from McEwans for $99, (I wanted the BMX which was $130 but he reckoned that "they would never take on, it doesn't even have gears") I am the one at the back with my brother and sister.
The next pictures are of my ralaigh Burner, I got this at 13 and im 14 in the pictures, this is the snake pit from our homemade goat trail, I changed the look of the bike every second week, I also had one of those massive monoshock bikes with the duel springs on the rear. It was heavier than a motorbike but boy could you jump it. My record was 11 tyres stacked flat off a homemade dirt mound (no second ramp  Huh?).

The next pictures are of my ralaigh Burner,

My second bike, or First BMX was the exact same bike as yours except i had red tuffs with a blue frame and the handlebars were gold. My parants bought it from BIG W, it came with Cyclops decals on it but they were almost falling off so i peeled them off to find Raleigh decals underneath. I was stoked about this as my mates in the street were baging me that it was a cyclops. Not that it mattered much none of them could jump as high or as far as me (heres where my child hood scars kick in) so they can all go and get stuffed LOL Shocked Tongue

Mine would be this, A DB Pro-Star, only available to the European marketplace in 1982-1983

If you're into old school Diamond Back, check out my dedicated DB section at www.retrObsession.net for detailed model information between 1977 and 1986. There's also a link to the retrObsession forum with a dedicated Diamond Back area and other old school interests. Hope to see you there.
